JJ concert

JJ lin jun jie's concert at the indoor stadium.

gone shopping

original plan was to buy a pair of funky black flat slip-on sandals. but i've combed all the shoe shops but still couldn't find a pair to my liking.

anyways i bought something else instead. this esprit bag in grey with a hibiscus (my fav. flower!) on the front. it comes in pink and orange as well.

after that i went to giordano and got this pair of khakis slacks. this one's sand colour. there's also the off white and aqua coloured version. the aqua or greenish-blueish pair is quite pretty, though i think they are harder to match other colour clothings.

LAST night, i went prata supper. after that i got the chance to drive back home! i was so nervous. but it was nice. my first ever experience with an auto car! it was so cool. and i got us back safely, phew! haha.

movie-makan-talk

watched the 'impossible' on sunday. the one thing that disturbed me thoughout the show is to wonder how some people must be struggling to decide between hating or feeling sympathetic for tom cruise in the story of m.i.III. haha. (for those who don't know what this is about, go read or watch some entertainment news!) as for me, i'm sittin' on the fence, but only cause i don't really wanna go find out the full 'cruisey'-details, not a fan anyway, nut' interested. all in all, i'd say the movie was super hyper, loads of action, blasting, shooting, running. twists and turns. and like yan said, "whatever could go wrong went wrong". oh ya, one more thing, i didn't realise how i actually hate the m.i. theme. and they blasted it so loudly somemore!! and twice! arghh...

to people who 'live to eat', teehee! check this out. must try if you have the chance.

it's called the peranakan pie tee. i don't even want to tempt myself by discribing how it tastes when you bite down on the crispy kueh pie tee cup, which then brings you next to the yummy fillings that goes so well with it!! noooo! there! i already said it out! somebody! give me some of it! pleeeeasseee!!!

bernard tried it at his friend's house quite a while ago (mah jiong kah ki) and managed to get hold of its flyer. details at http://www.redlipsfoods.com/

current read

before my exams started, i went popular to get some writing materials. i also did some browsing of the books they displayed on the shelf, and came across this one.

afghanistan in the 1970s. when amir was little he lived with his rich and successful father in a beautiful mansion his father built. he wants to win his father's approval and determines to win the kite-fighting tournament. his friend hassan will help him. hassan is a low-caste servant, and always his trusted buddy. however, something happened to hassan that afternoon which changed their lives forever. then there was the invasion of the russians, which forced amir and his family to run from their homes. hmm... what exactly happened?

sudden interest in a different kind of writing, so i bought this book.

elections, exams closing.

right now this period when you turn on the tv during normal hours (not talking about the ungodly hours when they show replays or nothing but adverts), what do we see? programmes, sometimes one after another, featuring everything to do with the elections. advertisements, news, special programmes, and much more. one thing not surprising though, most of the stories cover those of the p.a.p. you see the many ministers' familiar faces. a typical scene would be one where the party walk along the void decks, or corridors of the residents' blocks, or those makan market places, or outside the shophouses shaking people's hands. bleh.

i have to say, most unfortunately, i turned 21 last year. and they have to have the elections! arghh.. and plus my area purposely have other party contesting. so i must vote. u see, if this were of my level, and if i have been a fan of politics, it should be very clear who i will vote for. but i seriously have no idea i want to be on who's side, all i've got is a vague idea which parties they are. anyway i just need to choose among two. bleh.

wanna do so many things once that last paper of mine is over! counting down: only 2 days to go...

kimmy, waiting for you to come back too!!
