official blog launch

today i shall launch my blog officially. have been secretly writing stuff here... 'cause my blogs have never survived for long. haha.

i haven't really got a theme for this page.. basically i'll just put in anything that interest me. but especially nice clothes, shoes, or even anything else not linked to fashion la.

anyway, witch hunter robin. i missed lots of it 'cause of school and exams, so trying to find a way to watch it properly... last episode i caught STN-J was raided, everyone thought it was a witch-hunt for robin. but when the swat team brushes off robin's escape, everything was all confusing. then the show ended.

then?? i wanna know!

exam midst or mist

how bad can having days of consecutive papers in a row be? super deadly.. if you haven been following with work consistently. enough said.

everything comes so fast in your face that you don't have time to prepare. there was too much to cover that i had to resort to staying up into the night. and the result -- insomnia. and the very serious kind. the completely never sleep and still don't feel sleepy type. the lie on pillow but still wide awake type. the time to sleep but only toss and turn in bed and end up still awake type. the no matter what you try to do to fall asleep all you get is a few minutes out and you wake again to try it all over again type. really scary. i never thought this kinda thing would happen to me. sleeping was supposed to be one of my favourite hobbies! one of the pleasures in life haha. but that is what you get, when you try to defy "nature".

i just had two days of paper so i haven't slept much. (but i could get to sleep a few hours not minutes, thank god) so the moment i came home at 7 in the evening yesterday, i simply fell asleep and didn't wake until it was midnight. i continued sleeping in order to adjust my bio-clock back to normal. now i'm awake like everyone's supposed to. phew.

too much stress. two more to go.

a witch who hunts witches

my latest anime craze. witch hunter robin. The story is set in a world where witches exist and some of them abuse their supernatural powers which brought terror to the society. A special team has been formed to rid of these unusual criminals, known as STNJ (the J represents the Japanese Division). The team are highly skilled craft (as in "witchcraft") users and are experts in "secretive" operations.

in the first episode, which i managed to catch unknowingly that i would like it, STNJ was expecting a replacement from italy, she is robin. she was japanese-born but grew up overseas, and she's a witch who have the power of fire. Interesting thing is whenever she use her powers, she loses a portion of her eyesight (so aim poorly) and had to wear glasses.

i haven't catch most of the episodes cuz i stay in school. but if the first episode was able to catch my interest, the rest would be even better.

my favourite topic

i was flipping through a really expired issue of herworld mag when i came across this pair of really pretty gladiator sandals! before this, i wouldn't have known this is what they call them. as the name suggests, it does look like the pair of "shoes" that russell crowe wore in the movie "the gladiator", what else! but these (i have the picture right under my nose) are really pretty and sexy sandals, so feminine, definitely unlike the ones wore by those guys in the early roman days. pale pink, light brown, strappy, and just perfect i tell you. so there i was, determined to find the picture from the web and put it here..... but pretty things are just always so hard to find!

well i didn't find those shoes, but i stumbled across this website titled "closet therapy". it's got fashion fashion and more fashion items in it! it's actually a blog done up by a lady, and i'm so amazed by what she has done.

there're articles of her outfit for the day with pictures of them, and tons of pictures of clothes, shoes, and other assessories and articles about them. i think it's so cool. reading on, i think she studies fashion, so that explains the blog, but that's really a good ground for her career, she definitely knows her stuff.

i'm just grumbling

can the weekends get any shorter? and to fall sick over the weekends but not get well when the week starts again is most dreading. my left eye looked like it had been punched, the lid was swollen red. kept myself in the room until no one's around to get a fill of water from the pantry and hot water for the bowl noodles (yeap, pathetic dinner). luckily the swell subsided a little last night and didn't swell back this morning. but still my wanting to get my lab report back wasn't going to happen because i skipped lab again, that makes it twice this semester so there goes my A for lab, and i dono which of my lab-mates is holding on to my precious report. hmm...

waiting for lessons which starts at 4.30pm... another hour and over more. will soon have to start mugging for exams and it will be such a boring life to lead --- the wakeup-study-eat-sleep rountine, for days and days until the final paper is over. *punch*, that's for myself, for failing transportation so i have to retake it again now, which resulted in me having to finish my exams later than i actually need to. this semester, i really need all the gods in the world to bless me, and all the nerds in the world to motivate me to study really really hard! the one "NarD" i'm motivated towards won't be a nerd this sem (hehe) so i'm in deep trouble. but i'll make myself study anyhow...
